Ombre Quilt
We just love our great selection of Ombre fabrics - and you'll love what Gail's figured out what to do with them!! Super fast strip piecing - this is a great project for your Accuquilt cutter, or rotary cutter. You'll make a super simplified Bargello style quilt - any size you like from placemat to King size!
Supplies:
Sewing Machine cleaned, oiled, with new 80/12 needle, power cord, foot pedal, bobbin
1/4" patchwork foot
Straight stitch throat plate (not absolutely necessary but is beneficial)
50wt neutral colored thread for piecing
Rotary cutter with fresh blade
Cutting mat at least 18" x 24"
6" x 24" ruler
For quilt top:
If making your quilt with two fabrics, you'll need approx 3/4 yds of each one.
If making your quilt with one fabric, you'll need approx 1-1/2 yds
For quilt binding:
1/2 yd
For backing:
1-1/2 yds
